FLYING COMPETITIONS

The Wanganui Aero Club’s third series of landing and bombing competitions was concluded yesterday. The events were started two weeks ago, but had to be called off when a wind of gale force developed after lunch.

The senior landing was won by C. W. Williams, With J. Charles second, and A. Palmer and J. Colway equal third. The senior bombing was won by A. Palmer. F. Bosselman was second and B. Lupton third. M. Morrison won the junior landing and M. Alexander was second. The junior bombing was won by M. Alexander.
