Milk Roundsmen Get Rise In Pay
AUCKLAND, Saturday (PA).—Milk roundsmen, at a special meeting in the Auckland Trades Hall this moitiing, accepted an offer of a short-term award made by the employers, in c’reasing wages by 10s a week, granting half the extra rate for Saturday work, and raising the early starting rate from 6s to 8s 6d. There are 140 milk roundsmen in Auckland. The increases granted arc simiiai generally to those give'a pc.stcu'riscrs and bottlers in Auckland to settle their recent dispute.
