CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA) —The Rangiora and Cheviot Trotting Clubs held their Centennial meeting at Rangiora on Saturday in warm weather. There was a good attendance and there were some close finishes on a fast track. The Star RosaDealer’s Choice combination returned £1074 9s for £1 on the double. R. J. May, the driver of Defendant in the Coldstream Handicap, was suspended for one month for careless driving. Th? totalisator put through £42,605, including £3250 on the double, compered with £41,652 at the February meeting earlier this year.
