Sands-Mullett Fight Now Certain To Take Place
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).— It is now certain that the professional heavyweight boxing contest between Dave Sands, champion of Australia, and Don Mullett, champion of New Zealand, will take place in the Wellington Town Hall on December 14. Mr. C. L. Mullaney, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Boxing Association, today telephoned Mr. Tom Maguire, Sand’s manager, who stated that he and Jj&nds would arrive at Wellington on December 6 or 8.
