A master at the Wanganui Col* legiate School, Mr I. M. Davis, has been granted leave and will proceed t i England and Europe at the end of the .school term. Mr. G. W. Currie, who is resigning as chairman of the Wanganui Collegiate School Board of Trustees, is to be the guest of honour at the annual prize-giving. His successor will be Mr. E. A. Millward, who was appointed to the board in 1947. Mr. I. M. Davis, a master at the Wa'nganui Collegial c School, goes on leave to England and Europe at the end of this year The latest issue of the school’s magazine, the Wanganui Collegian, states that Mr. Davis has been at rhe school for four years. The Chief of the Australian Nav .1 Staff and First Naval Member of the Commonwealth Naval Board, ViceAdmiral J. A. Collins, C. 8., has arrived in New Zealand for consultations with the New Zealand Naval Board.
