PUKEKOHE, Last Night (PA).— Before a record attendance the Franklin Racing Club's summer meeting was held on Saturday in warm but windy weather. The track was firm and fast. An inquiry was held into the running of Tudor Prince in the Auckland Cup Trial, i The committee accepted the explanations of the connections of the horse but were of opinion that the horse had not been judiciously handled by his rider. The totalisator handled £146,024 10s, including £17,966 10s on the doubles machine, compared with £111,497 last year. The winning double, Beaumaris and Good Century, paid £B6 11s for £l.
