CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA) —The New Brighton Trotting Club held its summer meeting at New Brighton on Saturday in fine weather except for a heavy shower before the second race. The track was in good order considering the rain which fell all day on Friday. An excellent attendance witnessed interesting racing throughout the day. The winning double combination of Petro Star and Springbok returned £3O 12s 6d for £l. The totalisator put through £104,535 15s, including £9539 15s on the double.
