Early Engagement For Melbourne Cup
The Australian horseman A. Breasley. who is at present riding in England, has set what is probably a record for a long-range riding engagement by accep.ing the mount on the English’ stayer Strathspey for the Jubilee Melbourne Cup next year. Strathspey, winner of the Cesarewitch 21 miles, at Newmarket, is owned by the well-known owner and breeder, Mr. J. V. Hank, for whom Breasley does most of the riding.
