Puma Cub Progressing.
The surviving cup of the litter of | three puma cubs born at the Auckland Zoo last wee 1 /, is putting on weight rapidly. Under the care of the curator, the cub i$ being reared on a “modified Plunket” system by hand, and has responded to the care by putting on an ounce in weigh', daily. The mother of the cub, which was seriously ill last week, has almost recovered and is off the danger list.
