MASONIC OFFICERS
CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 30.—8 y a unanimous vote of the 342 lodges, Mr. Edward J. Guiness, of Lower Hutt, has been elected head of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand for the ensuing year. Mr. Guiness' service to Freemasonry extends over half a century.
After his installation this evening, the new Grand Master announced his appointment of the following senior officers: Deputy Grand Master, Mr. Adam Smith (Dunedin); Senior Grand Warden, Mr. Norman B. Spencer (Auckland); Junior Grand Warden, Mr. A. H. C. Cavell (Christchurch).
