A case being heard in the police court at Auckland was interrupted when a Maori boy who was giving evidence fainted and fell from the witness box. He fell heavily against lhe concrete wall and struck his head. An ambulance was called and the boy, Frederick Thomas Paul, aged 13, was taken to the casualty department of the Auckland Hospital. He was given treatment and sent home. The case was adjourned.
