PURSUANT to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Acf, 1926,” the Rangitikei County Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to raise a Special Loan of £50,000 as follows: (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is replacement of bridges throughout the Rangitikei County. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is Fifty thousand pounds (£50,000). (c) The proposed security for the said loan is an annually-recurring rate of Nine one-hundredths of a penny (9/100d) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei and the said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon. shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term of twenty-five (25) years. (d) It is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan nor the instalments of principal and interest for the first year.
