Film Screened At City Election Meeting

For the first time in the history of the long association of the Opera House with election meetings in Wanganui, both Parliamentary ami municipal, a candidate last night screened a film there to illustrate a point. He was Mr A. C. Seivewright, Citizens’ Association nominee for the mayoralty, and the film was a 16mm short dealing with modern road-making machines, the use of which the speaker was advocating in the city for street improvements.
