Zoo To Light A Sign With Electric Eels

LONDON, Oct. 29.—Visitors to Edinburgh zoo will shortly see a neon sign over one of the aquarium’s tanks powered by Britain’s first electric eels. These eels, found only in South America, produce electric power by muscular action from organs on either side of the head. Two have been sent to Edinburgh from New York.
