Colours Registered By Queen Elizabeth
LONDON, Oct. 27.—Queen Elizabeth now has her own racing colours—blue with buff stripes, blue sleeves, black cap and gold tassel. She is the first British Queen to run horses under her own name since Queen Anne, who founded Ascot in 1711. The Queen’s steeeplechaser Manicou is to run at Fontwell Park on November 2. In addition to Manicou, the Queen owns an unbroken three-year-old steeplechaser and jointly owns, with Princess Elizabeth, the steeplechaser Monaveen.
