C.J.C. ACCEPTORS FOR OPENING DAY OF N.Z. CUP MEETING
CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA> —The totalisator double on the opening day of the C.J.C. meeting at Riccarton on November 4 will be on the New Zealand Cup and the Stewards' Handicap. For the N.Z. Cup there were 33 acceptors, six of which were balloted out with the right of reentry and one was eliminated. For the big sprint there were 17 acceptors, and 16 figure in the New Zealand Derby Stakes. Horses balloted out the New Zealand Cup cannot be reinstated after 10 a.m. on the day of the race.
