RECORD ENTRIES FOR CASTLECLIFF GOLF CLUB TOURNAMENT
Record entries have been received for the Labour week-end Castlecliff Golf Club tournament, which will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Eighty local players will be competing as well as 40 visiting golfers. For the third successive tourney, the system of continuous match play whereby every competitor is engaged in match play throughout the whole programme, will be a feature. Several clubs in the North Island are using the new' Method and the Nelson Golf Club will be the first in the South Island to adopt a full match play programme at their annual gathering this week-end.
