PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1950, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of Motor-Cycle Road Races, the following roads will be CLOSED on SATURDAY, October 21, 1950, to ordinary vehicular Traffic: Wanganui-Kauangaroa Highway, from the Okoia Road Corner to the Matarawa Corner; the Matarawa Road and the Okoia Road (from Okoia to the Wanganui-Kauangaroa Highway). During the periods of closure the following provisions will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads: —■
Period or periods of closure:— 9-10.30 a.m. 11-12 noon. 1-1.45 p.m. 2.15-3.45 p.m. 4.4.30 p.m. Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic:— WARRENGATE ROAD AND OKOIA ROAD. It will be an offence under the above regulation? for any person otherwise than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the periods of closure.
