More Than £186,000 Of Work In Hand By The Education Board
Contracting work being dealt with from the Wanganui Education Board’s office amounted to £75.488 the monthly meeting of the board was told yesterday by the architect, Mr L. S. Barsanti. The report said that these works covered the teachers’ residences at Tangimoana, thp infant block al Gonville, the infant block at. Taihape, and the infant block at Lytton Street. Works under direct labour which were dealt with by the board’s own staffs amounted to £109,486 10s, which included those at the Te Arahura residence, the Ohakune esecondary department the Foxton Beach School and the Foxton secondary department.
