DENTAL CLINIC AT DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL SOUGHT The Marlon Junction School Committee forwarded a petition to the monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board from 154 parents for the establishment of a type “B” dental clinic there. The board, on being told that the matter lay with the dendivision of the Health Department, decided to advise the school committee to approach the principal dental officer at the Palmerston North office ot lhe Health Department. The commitee also asked that an additional classroom be built at the I school as the temporary accommodation was not fully satisfactory. The board received a report from the architect, Mr L. S. Barsanti, in which it was said the subject had been discussed by the building committee for this years programme. While the temporary accommodation was not ideal, at least it. was satisfactory. The board decided to discuss the matter further when next year's building programme was being formulated.
