Power Board To Make Refund lo Town Board

The Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board is to refund £4 14s lid to the Waverley Town Board. This was decided by the Power Board yesterday when a letter protesting at'the large electricity account, was received from the Town Board. The Town Board’s consumption was fairly constant, said the Power Board secretary, Mr. G. A. Ammundsen, but after the last reading the consumption was well above the usual mark. We could not account for this as the meter had been tested and “even if they left the lights on all the time they could not have used all the extra units shown on the account.” Mr Am.mund'ci suggested that lh» difference should be written off.
