PARLIAMENT TO SIT TO MIDNIGHT FROM WEDNESDAY
WELLINGTON, Yesterday (PA).— From Wednesday next, the House of Representatives will sit to midnight instead of 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, and Government business will take precedence on Wednesdays. Notices of motion to this effect were given by Mr. Holland when the House met today. The Hon. W. Sullivan: That’s the stuff. Make ’em work! Mr. P. G. Connolly (Opp., Dunedin Central): The gag.
