Collegian Teams Visit Wellington Collegians junior basketball team was defeated by Wellington College Old Girls’ Intermediate after an evenly contested game last Saturday by 13 goals to 8. The Wanganui team registered a good performance and held the lead until they lost R. Brookie in the last few minutes. The match in which Collegians senior defeated Furlor (Wellington) was played in the rain. Both teams handled the wet ball with precision. Collegians led by 8 goals to 3 In the first half and won by 13 to 5. The second Maori representative team to play Ngarauru at Waverley on September 30. will practice on the Technical Courts at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday.
