NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night (OC) —Superior combination and finish 'were the deciding factors in matches played between hockey 'teams from the Wanganui Technical College Old Girls' Cl->b and New Plymouth clubs when tne Second annual fixture was decider” at New Plymouth. Wanganui Technical College Old Girls won both games by decisive margins. , A strong Wanganui team defeated New Plymouth High School Old Girls by 9 goals to 2 in the first of the matches. Wanganui played well up to representative standard and held a territorial advantage throughout. The second Wanganui team also notched a win against New Plymouth, -.coring five goals and keeping its own jet intadt. More alert forwards and better stickwork gave Wanganui a clear advantage which told increason the flagging New Plymouth defence.
