United Can Expect Hard Game At Sanson Tomorrow

Women’s hockey in Rangitikei is now drawing to a close and tomorrow will see the final games played in the senior B club competition. The results, however, will count little, as Athletic has already won this grade.

There is a different story in the senior A championship and the association might not be able to announce the winner of this grade until the final game on September 30. A lot will depend upon the performances of United and Swifts in future games. Both are fighting hard and at present Swifts lead by one point. United will strike a tough match tomorrow against Te Kawau at Sanson In the first round, when the game vas played at Marton, United won by the slender margin of one goal. Te Kawau are noted for their sterling performances on their own ground and may surprise the visiting team tomorrow.
