Wanganui Soccer Team Chosen To Play Wellington

The following team to represent the Wanganui Football Association in a match against Wellington to be played on Cook’s Gardens on Saturday, September 16, has been announced by Mr. A. Walker, sole selector: E. Gould (T. 0.8. K. Patterson (T. 0.8. A. Springer (Eastbrooke), R. Kendrick (Eastbrooke) R. Hessell (T. 0.8. N. Breed (T. 0.8. J. Mutimer (Athletic). J. Scott (T. 0.8. G. Wellwood (Athletic), J. Kidd (T. 0.8. A. Kidd (Athletic). Reserves: G. Grassick (Rangers), H. O’Neill (Athletic). Players are to report to the coach, Mr. R. Morton, at Victoria Park tonight and on Tuesday and Thursday of next week. A. Springer has been notified of his selection in the North Island minor associations' team which will play South Island at the Basin Reserve Wellington, on Saturday. Eight Wanganui players will be taking part.
