PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Last Night (PA). —At question time in the House of Representatives today, Mr. McCombs (Opp., Lyttelton) asked the Minister of Civil Aviation to disclose the terms and conditions of the sale of the National Airways Corporation and, in particular, to state what charge will be made for the use of aerodromes worth £3,500,000 and for services essential to safety provided by the Civil Aviation Department, costing £2,149,000 annually. Mr. Hudson (Opp., Mornington) asked the Minister in Charge of the National Film Unit if the New Zealand Rugby Union requested the Government to permit the Film Unit to film the first two Rugby Test matches between the British Isles and New Zealand. He asked if failure to film these two matches was caused by the Government’s refusal to allow the National Film Unit to operate, and by the failure of private enterprise to use the opportunity granted it. Mr. Hudson also asked why the Government reversed its previous decision, and allowed. the National Film Unit to make “Ihat excellent film of the third Test match?"
