Important Harbour Post For Wellington Engineer
MELBOURNE, Sept. 6 (Rec. 12.15 am). Mr. E. P. C. Hughes, of Wellington, was lottery appointed, chief engineer of the Newport Harbour Trust, set up to develop Portland as an all-weather port. Mr. Hughes, who is 46. will receive a salary of £lB5O a year.
