“TIDDLY” CYCLIST FINED IN AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, Last Night (P.A.) Appearing before Mr. W. S. Spence, S.M., on a charge of being found drunk in charge of a bicycle, Thomas Charles Fuller, aged 30, foundry worker, pleaded guilty. Sub-Inspector Lines said accused rode his machine along Karangahape Road last evening in a drunken state. The bicycle “was all over the road” and accused narrowly avoided three accidents. Once he went against, the traffic lights. “You stand a first class risk of killling yourself riding a bicycle while drunk.” said Mr. Spence. He lined accused £7 10s.
