AUCKLAND, Aug. 30, (PA).-A problem that has arisen now that volunteers for Korea have marched into camp is the low number of trained artillery officers who have offered their services in the force. The training of volunteers would have been simplified if a higher proportion of experienced gunnery officers had volunteered for service and this lack of trained officers will have a definite effect, on the date al which the troops can be put into battle. It. is known that not as many officers with active service experience in field artillery regiments came forward to join the force as had been hoped by the army authorities.
