« AVERY—On August 19, 1950, at Wanganui, George Thomas, beloved husband of Myra Beatrice Avery; aged 81 years. Friends are invited to attend the funeral, which will leave St Stephen’s Church, Marton, at the conclusion of a service commepcing at 2 p.m. today (Monday, August 21, 1950), for St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Mt. BUTLER—On August 18, 1950, at the Wanganui Hospital, Herbert, dearly loved husband of the late Ethel Amy Butler, of No. 55 Harrison Street, Wanganui, and beloved father of Ron, Bob and Daphne; aged 61 years. Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave Christ Church, Wicksteed Street entrance, for the Aramoho Cemetery today (Monday, August 21, 1950), at the conclusion of a service commencing at 10.30 am. —Dempsey and Sons.

CHAINEY—On August 18, 1950, at Wanganui, William Alfred, dearly beloved husband of Mary Baillie Chains, of 26 Godwin Crescent, Wanganui, and loved father of Granleigh, and beloved eldest son of the late Frederick and Lillian Chainey.
