Auctioneer’s Note.—Mr. Whitelock needs no introduction to pig breeders throughout tile Manawatu and adjacent districts and pigs bred by him are noted for their breeding and constitution. It is cnly through he loss of his buttermilk contract that this sale has been called and the pigs to be offered are an outstanding line, all being well grown and in excellent order. The majority of the sows are close to farrowing and several will have farrowed by the day of the sale. The unmated sows ate all fit for service and are a very choice lot. Two Tamworth and 4 Large White boars of serviceable age are included in the offering and can be thoroughly recommended. The Large store and weaner oigt are all in wonderful order.
