It was moved thtat the proceeds from the euchre evening to be held on September 4 be donated to the United Nations Appeal for Children. This was approved. BASKETBALL. A basketball match was played recently between Alton and Waverley basketball senior teams, at Waverley. The match resulted in a win for Waverley by 13 goals to 8. Waverley team: P. Street (captain), S. Cun. ningham, A. Carroll, M. Street, P. Stewart, V. Milne, A. Brown, B. Neil and M. Booker.
