Rangitikei Wins Two Women’s Hockey Games Against Wanganui

The Rangitikei women’s hockey representatives proved too strong for Wanganui in all departmnts of the game, in two matches played in Wanganui on the Gonville Domain on Saturday. Rangitikei won the A match by six goals to nil. and the B match by four goals to one. The A match was definitely one sided, and the Wanganui team was outclassed. The B match was more evenly contested, but Rangitikei was the better side. Rangitikei has one of the strongest women’s hockey sides playing in the Dominion at present, and it was refreshing to see the polish and the speed of their players in action at Gonville.
