SANDY'S CORNER We think there is nothing surer, unless some amicable settlement is made now, that Chinese Communist troops will be in the war rising round Korea before very long. WELL PACKED! While dozing in my archair I had the wierdest dream, Beside it Alice in Wonderland Quite commonplace would seem. I heard a peevish sardine His sorry state deplore To a person waiting for the bus That leaves just after four Ho complained of overcrowding And said it was a sin That so many lusty sardines Should bo packed in one small tin The passenger then told him With a fiendish kind of glee "If you v. ant to know what comfort Is Just take this trip with me" They crowded him up that gangway Till there wasn't another crack While the driver gaily chortled “There’s still room at the back.” They serrped his riba wth baskets And trod upon his toes, (That every one soemed cheerful Only added to his woes). A very chastened sardine As he struggled through that col! Murmured "If I must be packed Let mo be packed in oil.’’ Now I wonder what it could have been That brought that dream to mg Unless it was the sardine I had on toast for tea. "FISHY.*
