Supper Party
At the conclusion of the successful 'two-night programme presented Oy the R S.A. Little Theatre this week the cast and members were entertained at an informal supper party. The president of Little Theatre, Mr Roland Young, expressed appreciation of the work of the players and of the assisting artists which had resulted in a high standard of performance, and of the work of all those behind the scenes which was an essential part of the success of the performance.
The next major production of the Little Theatre was now in rehearsal and would be presented late in August or early in September, and all profits would be devoted to Heritage funds, Mr Young said. The play, “George and Margaret,” was being produced by Mr and Mrs L. H. Aitken.
The enterprise of the society had been amply justified in staging a twonight programme as was demonstrated by the large attendance on both nights.
