COMIC COURT TOP IN BIG AUSTRALIAN RACES
SYDNEY, July 16.—The handicaps have been issued for the major races of the spring campaign in Sydney and Melbourne. The South Australian galloper Comic Court is topweight in all events. He has 9.10 in the Epsom Handicap and 9.7 in The Metropolitan, to be run at Randwick on September 30 and October 2 respectively, 9.6 in the Caulfield Cup on October ‘JO, and 9.5 in the Melbourne Cup on November 7. This year the Epsom Handicap carries £4OOO endowment by the Australian Jockey Club and The Metropolitan £6OOO. Topweights and New Zealanders are as follows: — Epsom Handicap: Comic Court 9.10.
