N.Z. HOCKEY TEAM WINS AGAIN

Mclntyre Scores Two Goals BRISBANE, July 4 (Recd. 10.15 pm).—With the shops closed and business suspended for the afternoon, about 2500 people at Bundaberg today saw the New Zealand hockey team trounce - the locals in the opening match of the Queensland tour, finishing six goals to one, after leading four to nil at half time.

Displaying far superior speed and positional play, the New Zealanders overran the Bundaberg team from the outset and had them defending desperately throughout. During the onesided first half goals were scored by Munro (2), Dunning and Mclntyre. The second half was a repetition of the first, with play almost entirely in home territory. K. Johnson made the best of the only opportunity that came Bt>.daberg’s way, scoring their lone goal. The second half scorers for New Zealand were Gribble and Mclntyre. The outstanding and most overworked player on the field was B. Johnson, the Bundaberg goalie. The best players for the visitors were Dunning, Mclntyre and Englert.
