Coy’s report on the Mangaweka l Sale : | “A medium yarding of good quality i sheep and small entry of run cattle ; came forward to a large bench of buylers from the Taihape, Ohakune, Rani gitikei and local districts. All classes iof sheep met with a very ready sale and in every case vendors met the j market, a total clearance being efj fected. Good quality forward condiItioned wether hoggets met with very j keen competition with one line realis|ing 50s 9d. Fat and forward wethers i also met with a strong demand with ! good quality lines making up to 695. i An exceptionally good line of woolly I ewe hoggets incited keen competition Ito be knocked down at 675. In the j cattle section prices realised were ; higher than vendors expectations and i a complete clearance was made. I The following were the prices reai lised:—Forward wether hoggets, 50s i Sd, 45s 9,43 s 3d to 36s lOd; others, 33s • 6d, 31s 6d to 29s 4d. Ewe hoggets .woolly 675; ewe hoggets others, 41s; fat and forward wethers, 695, 68s 6d, I 64s to 575; aged ewes R.W.S.D. rams 39s 6d. | Cattle.—P.A. cows r.w.b., £l2 2s 6d I to £lO ss; 20 months P.A. heifers, £ll I to £7 14s; weaner P.A. steers, £lO 6s; I weaner P.A. heifers, £7 15s to £6 15s.
