Following are the results of the annual cross-country races of St. Augustine’s High School, held on Monday:— Senior (5 miles): G. Gray, 34min. llsec., 1; S. Carew 2; J. Barry 3; B. Fromont. 4. Intermediate (3 miles): P. Orange, 26min. 41sec., 1; G. Connelly 2; P. Gordon 3; P. Sutherland 4. Under 14 (3 miles): M. Benefield, 27min. 55sec. (record) 1; D. Gallop 2; J. Devlin 3; P. Kendrick 4. The following were placed in the handicap results:— Senior: P. Daws, G. Caldwell, J. Barry, B. Fromont. Intermediate: P. Baker, F. Smith, P. Sutherland, G. Hobda'y. Under 14: D. Gallop, J. Devlin, P. Kendrick, P. Toohey.
