Riding a well judged race throughout L. V. Perry (Auckland) won the senior 60 mile motor cycle road race held at Patea on Saturday under the control of the Wanganui Sports Motor Cycle Club. His time was 54min. 48sec„ R. W. Coleman (Wanganui) 56min. 58sec. was 2, A. G. Holland (Christchurch) 57min. 39sec. 3, R. McKinnie (Napier) 59min. 39sec. 4, J. Reynard (Wanganui) 59min. 42sec. 5, Perry recorded the fastest lap in Bmin. 59sec. Junior race, 50 miles: R. W. Coleman (Wanganui) 46min. 30sec. 1, L. V. Perry (Auckland) 47min. 20sec. 2, A, G. Holland (Christchurch) 48min. 27sec. 3, R. E. Robson (Wellington) 49.345ec. 4. Coleman once he hit the lead was never challenged. He recorded the fastest lap, clocking 9min. 9sec.
