LARGE ENTRIES FOR KING’S DAY WEEK-END GOLF TOURNAMENT
Fairly good weather prevailed for the opening day of the Castlecliff Golf Club’s King’s Birthday tourney yesterday, although a strong westerly wind in the afternoon called for accurate judgment. More than 100 players attended and some outstanding scoring was evident, especially in the stroke matches. Leading cards were; gross scores: J. F. Farley, 78-82-160; S. Kimmo, 84-81-165; H. W. Post entries for the latter games will be accepted at the clubhouse.
