R.I.P.— Dempsey and Sons, 144 Victoria Ave. McCARTIN— On May 16, 1950, at the Waipukurau Hospital, Ellen Isabella Henrietta. loved wife of the late John Patrick McCartin, of Otane; aged 58 years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Waipawa Catholic Church today (Wednesday). May 17, at 9 a.m. The funeral will leave the Taihape Catholic Church following a sendee which will commence at 10 am. tomorrow (Thursday), May 18, 1950, for the Taihape Cemetery.—Wharmby and Williams, Ltd., Funeral Directors, Waipukurau. SWANGER—On May 16, 1950, at Wanganui, Walter Henry’, dearly beloved husband of Clare Swanger, of 9A Rees Street, and loved father of Addie (Waituna West), Walter (Wellington), and brother of George (Tauranga); in his. 69th year. Friends are respectfully informed that the funeral service will be held at the Crematorium Chapel, Aramoho Cemetery, today (Wednesday), May 17, 1950, commencing at 2.30 p.m. Fleming and Dick.
