TE AWAMUTU TROTTING CLUB’S FIRST MEETING

In view of the forthcoming Auckland trotting meetings, laterest will be displayed in the inaugural fixture of the Te Awamutu Trotting Club today. Some idea of the support accorded the meeting is provided by the fact that the Ohaupo Handicap was divided into two separate events, with divisions in each, and divisions have also been arranged in the Pirongia Handicap and the Otorohanga Handicap. Horses in likely form include:— Pirongia Handicap.—First Divisions Silver Pine, Airworthy. Second Di* vision: Brooklands, Oban. First Ohaupo Handicap.—First Division: Clayteen, Maleeta. Second Division: Peter Amanda, Lucky Gaillard. Paterangi Handicap.—Black Storm, Bella Lea, Trustful. Te Awamutu Trotting Cup.—Petite Raider, Billy Boy, Hillsborough. Second, Ohaupo Handicap.—First Division; Junior Amanda, Margaret’s Own. Second Division; Indian Line, Preston Grange. Otorohanga Handicap—First Division: Casacando, San Pietro. Second Division: Stuart Earl, Bonnig Pet. Kihikihi Handicap.—Airworthy, Sir Rose, Dean. Walpa Handicap.—Billy Boy, Petite Raider, Beda.
