Four horses were balloted out in this race and the three scratchings enable Dtidy Ninth, Prince Coronach, and Tranquil Gold to be reinstated. Other scratchings are:— First Novice: My Bobs (a division is avoided). Steeplechase: Te Ranui. Telegraph: Bronstar. Mangapapa Hack: Vane Mistress. The only brackets i n Woodville book are in the May Handicap. They are: Prince Coronach and Offender; Tairua and Tranquil Gold.
