Marching Girls

Sir,—While admitting that our marching girls provide an attractive spectacle. I cannot help feeling that it is a pity they db not adopt something with more variety. A really good display of physical exercises would not only provide more interest but would be infinitely better for the performers. It would make them alert and supple and greatly improve their physical and general health, whereas marching only develops one set of muscles and tends to make them stiff. And surely physical exercises would be more fun.—l am, etc., “FLEXIBLE.”
