Mr W, A. Chainey has been elected patron of the Wanganui Registered Poultrykeepers' Association. Mr D. K. Chamberlain was reelected president at the annual meeting of the Wanganui Registered Poultrykeepers’ Association last night. Mr. P. Wickham was elected vicepresident at the annual conference of the Meat and Wool Section of Federated Farmers yesterday. Mr. I. F. E. Carter, Waimarino, was re-elected president at yesterday’s annual conference of the Meat and Wool Section of Federated Farmers. Mr. L. D.. Uings, of Wanganui, has been admitted to the New Zealand Society of Accountants, with the status of Associate Public Accountant (A.P.A.N.Z.) Mr. J. I. Jolley, of Wanganui, has been granted a transfer of status in the New Zealand Society of Accountants to Associate Public Accountant (A.P.A.N.Z.) Mrs. M, M. I. Abraham, Messrs. A. F. Charleson, W.. Reindler, and P. R. Warnock, of Wanganui, have, been admitted to the New Zealand Society of Accountants with the status of Associate Registered Accountant (A.R.A.N.Z,) Mr. L. A. Lirlane, registrar of the Magistrate's Courts at Te Kuitl and Otorohanga, is to be transferred to the Wanganui Magistrate s Court office as deputy registrar. He is expected to take up his new duties in June. A resident, of Te Kuiti foi 12 years, Mr. Parlane was secretary of the King Country Rugby Union last season. —(0.C., Te Kuiti).
