FULL USE NOT BEING MADE OF FACILITIES OF TECHNICAL COLLEGE

Regret that all the facilities at the school were not made full use of at night classes was expressed by the principal (Mr. J. Dash) at Wednesday night's meeting of the Board of Managers of the Wanganui Technical College. "It is not only the young people who are not using these facilities but the older people who could learn much of value to them,’’ said Mr. Dash. In his report to the board Mr. Dash said: "Wanganui falls far behind most centres in the percentage of its population which attends such classes and it is most desirable that fuller use should be made of the facilities." It was pointed out that hobby clubs could make good use of the facilities at the school. It was decided to circularise all public associations pointing out that the facilities at the school were available at night for adult instruction.
