WANGANUI BOWLING CLUB CONTINUES PENNANTS’ COMPETITION

The uncompleted games in the Wanganui Bowling Club’s round two of the senior and junior Pennants which were postponed on account of rain on December 17 last, were, played on Saturday morning. The games played on the Wanganui Club's greens resulted as follows: Senior Pennants: J. C. Austin, Sedon, P. Thomson, Mursell 23, played Burns (Wanganui East) 15; Hoar, F. W. Williams, Bretherton, Trott 14, played McKessar, Hawkins, McLeay, Raine (Wanganui East) 17; Lange, C. N. Johnson. Dick, Tilley 19, played Clinkard (St. John’s) 11; Haworth, Barclay, Baxter, W. Harris 29, played Bland (Marton) 16. Junior Pennants: Swanger, G. K. Austin, Heath, Greener 25, played Allen (St. John's) 24; Cathro, Grant, Renz, W. Cook 12, played Pargetter (Cosmopolitan) 20; A. Rennie, Gatward, Williamson, Martin 16, played Dunlop (St. John’s) 22; Powell, Hendry, Brydone, Hammond 23, played Stewart (Castlecliff) 15. Next Saturday at 2 p.m., round five in the senior and junior Pennants will be played. CLUB FOURS.
