India Pays Homage To Gandhi

LONDON, Jan. 31 (Recd. 6 p.m.)— The New Delhi correspondent of the Associated Press says that yesterday, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, India re-dedicated herself to the ideals for which he died.

Thousands of pilgrims took flowers and scented stocks to the Rajghat in Delhi, where Gandhi was cremated.

Among them were India's new President, Rajendra Prasad, and the Prime Minister, Nehru.
